This means 'perseverance' in Korean. It is one of the 5 tenets of taekwondo. I got it after I passed my 4th dan. I also have 'Taekwondo' in Korean on my lower back.

I am testing for my first dan in Tae Kwon do in December and i am planning to get all 5 commandments in one tattoo
