The photo was taken looking down, so what you see is the effects of the photograph and perspective, given that she is flying across my back.

dare i say this looks a little disproportionate!? maybe would have been better if he'd made the body, tail end and feathers smaller.

Hi Matthew
Thanks for the nice comments.
I came up with the design myself and took the idea to my tattooist. He then drew it freehand.
He is a very skilled artist, Graham at Screaming Skulls in Lanark Scotland.
