Nice picture Scotty, never seen that one before. Who did the tattoo in the picture. By the way I noticed that the tattoo is a Gibson SG and the pic is a Gibson Les Paul.

hendrix played gibsons.one of his first guitars was a gibson.he aslo played the super V.hendrix is famous for playing fenders.

Hi great tattoo ,Its amazing , the guy who said Jimi played Stratts with the reverse headstock,Is talking b***cks, yes he played strats but headstock was not reversed he simply played a right handed strat ( many accasions)but it was simply turned upside down because he was left handed, also Jimi quite frequently played Gibsonws as well , infact I got that exact same photo, He played Gibsons as well,and thats what make that tattoo so origional and special;

For all you that don't know much about Hendrix: He only played the white Fender in a couple of venues. His black Fender was his pride and joy(Stevie Ra Vaughan pun). Thanks Weston for giving everyone an education about the flying V and the occasional Gibson. The flying V was a gibson also (specifically the Isle of White).
Do some research before you open your mouth about something you're not sure of. By the way, that is a really awesome tattoo. What I like about it is that he is playing the Gibson becauuse that's very rare.

Hendrix played hundreds of guitars in his life, mostly fenders granted but he owned and played a few gibsons towards the end of his career so dont get bummed out by the first comment matey =D great tat!
